Staying in Steve's home in the city center

The city center location is also the home to Steve and his partner. We can only take a limited number of people in our home, so we need to be a little selective during the high season. We prefer travelers who are non-smokers, non-drinkers like ourselves. Note that we also don't drink coffee or tea so we don't have the facilities to make it. Because our kitchen is small and we use it for our reception area and for other work, it is not possible to cook in the city center location. But we do have a fridge you can use.

We are closed during the day from 10 AM to 6 PM so we can clean, work on our writing and have some quiet time alone.

We offer discounts for Couchsurfers who send us a link to their profile in advance, and for helping in the hostel by doing a small chore or two. We ask that everyone do at least one chore in the city center location, but we realize not everyone has time or wants to so we don't require it. Instead we offer a discount for those who do. Examples of chores are sweeping the floors, washing the dishes, taking out the trash, making the beds.
